The Eagle Picher Mine is west of Lovelock, Nevada, where they mined Diatomaceous Earth which is used in a range of products from beverages to swimming pool filters. There are Opalite Seams in some of the old pits there and I saw quite a bit of mostly Peanut Butter Brown Jasper and some nice Agate as well.
